Mmm another weekend blog

It's Sunday and another week of school starts tomorrow. This weekend has been very eventful indeed. Relay for Life was this weekend and for those of you who don't know, it's basically an event to raise awareness to fight cancer from 6pm -6am. It's kind of like the got hope walkathon back at Edison. Anyways, I was in the VSA group and we all hung out in our little tents. It was colder than I expected so I had to go back and change clothes twice since it got way colder. I actually ran half a mile without stopping which surprised me since I suck at running the mile. I also met up with other of my friends through various parts of the relay and just hung out. There was grilling of foods and throwing of footballs and frisbees.

When the testimonies started, the mood was dampened. It's so sad how many people's lives have been affected by it. It kind of makes you think about things. What would you do if you discovered you had cancer. How would you deal with it. My thoughts and prayers go out to those families. I've had my share of experience dealing with loved ones with cancer. It's never easy, but somehow you just have to fight through it.

So I didn't get back until 4 and was exhausted. I had intended to wake up at 11 as to not waste my Saturday, but that didn't happen. I awoke at almost 2. Shortly after, I went to the international street fair. Met up with Colleen and Dorothy then went to the VSA tent. They were selling wafers and soybean milk drinks. So good haha. Willy was in the lion costume and a ton of people wanted to get a picture with him. Afterwards, I played tennis with some people. It seems my form hasn't diminished all that much, but my first serve is almost nonexistant =\. Went back and showered then went to the FASA culture show. The dances were pretty cool but the transitions inbetween each dance/scene took way too long, which kinda killed it. 4 hours the show took which was wayy too long. But I still respect the work and time everyone put into the show. Although in all honesty, VSA show was better =]

No tests this week, the only big thing is my final draft of my biolab which should be easy. Gota start studying for finals NOW. Seriously.
