Almost there

Why hello everyone. It's been a while.

So from the last time I blogged, not too many exciting things have happened until recently. Yesterday was the annual VSA Culture show. I took part in it by doing 3 traditional dances as well as played a part in the skit as the father. In this role, I sang some cai luong and had viet and english dialogues, which I got a lot of props for =D. I have to say that being in it has been one of the most fun I've had in a long time. All of the other groups also did an awesome job. Despite being yelled at over and over again during practices to get it right and then to mess up again during runthroughs, well, you can say that that was one part of being in the show that was not pleasant. The skit itself was very funny and included many movie and pop culture references such as Twilight. It was also a little nervewrecking trying to change costumes super fast inbetween scenes and dances, but luckily everyone did so alright. The show got awesome feedback from the audience, especially for the modern dance, the one I didn't do. It was also kind of sad that many of the seniors are leaving. I know I haven't known them for very long but it's what I feel. It's such a difference from high school, like when the seniors left, us freshmen would just be like, "Oh ok whatever" but it's different in college, at least to me. But yeah being part of this show as been a great experience for me and I will most definitely be in those in the future.

Now that that's over, back to reality. Only about 5 more weeks of school left. Jeez, freshman year has blown by so fast. It almost makes me want to slow down time just so I could enjoy it longer before going out into the real world xD. The say that college is the best years of your life. Buuuut we will have to wait to see about that. I have a couple of tests this week, hopefully I will do well on them *crosses fingers*. But yeah after these tests, it will be super study for finals. It's also springtime now, which means a lotta tennis and allergies! And the weather is so nice here at Tech in the spring. 70 degrees and a light breeze with sunshine just really makes your day a little better. Just going out and sitting on the drillfield is also really relaxing. Unfortunately, there has to be a balance between enjoying oneself and studying. Only a little more than a month to go til I'm home bound. Then it's tennis and studying ahead for ochem 24/7! Hahaha. Oh btw Happy Easter!

As a side note, I'm currently obsessed with the song, Palm of a Tiny Hand, from the anime Clannad After Story, which, thanks to Phillip for introducing it to me, has indeed been a very awesome anime and one that I enjoyed very much. One of the only things I've watched where I actually teared up in hahaha.
