One Week

Yep, only one more week. One more week and a new chapter in my life shall begin. One more week until new places and people will surround me. I'll only see a few familiar faces while the rest will be seen and or heard from cyberspace. That's right, college is coming. This isn't JV anymore, it's Varsity. Don't get me wrong, I'm very excited to make my way into Virginia Tech. The campus is very nice and the food is awesome. My dorm is located right next to 12 lovely lighted tennis courts. Unfortunately, my dorm room also has no AC. My roommate has offered to supply us with a large window fan, so all is well. A new life awaits me. A life away from my parents, the majority of my close friends, and away from home. A life filled with hours on hours of agonizing work until the wee hours of the day. Still, I think it to be an adventure of sorts. I can do whatever I want with little to no consequences. Everything I do will be up to me and me alone. Hopefully I'll meet some nice people who don't drink and or smoke all the time. You know, some old fashioned nice people who like to have fun but don't go overboard. Well, all in due time.
