And so it begins

School year 2009-1010 has begun for me. I am currently in my dorm room at Virginia Tech. I can't believe how fast time flew by. Just a few months ago I was having crazy fun with my friends back in NoVa, playing tennis, going to the gym, and just having old fashioned fun. But now things are different. I live hundreds of miles away from my old life. Away from the comfort of my own home, most of my friends, and family. Luckily, we have technology. And so, I can still talk to them via AIM, Skype, Tokbox, and just by calling or texting. Plus there is always breaks, which I definitely look forward to.

So yeah. College life thus far isn't too bad. I can do basically whatever I want. Go anywhere I please. I can take a short 15ft walk to Kevin and Patrick's room for a little Xbox 360 action. The cafeteria has awesome food which is also just a short 5min walk away. Today was our first real day of school. Woke up at around 9:15ish to get to my Biology lecture class which starts at 10:10. Oh yeah, these lecture classes are insanely packed. Even if you tried to get there 10 minutes early, there's still a crapload of people already in there or were already waiting to get in. I saw a couple people I knew, but couldn't exactly sit next to them as there are 590 other people in the room tring to get seats O.O YEAH 590 fricking people in one room. SO after bio lecture, I walk to Psyc lecture. Uhm yeah there's 560 people in this one. A little better right? Yeah...NO. So after that, I meet up w/ Kevin for a little lunch. Then I go to my Psyc recitation class. Only 30 people, thanks goodness. Afterwards, I go back to my dorm, play some Madden with Patrick then take a nap. When I woke up, we went to dinner at West End. It's like a bunch of restaurants put together. And now I'm here. So far, college life seems pretty chill. Of course I'm going to think differently once classes really get going.

I think it'll be a most interesting year.
